The 2nd workshop within the framework of the MoldHVAA_FAA_20025 grant was held on February 13, 2020 at the Art Gallery of Comrat municipality. The topic of the seminar:
"Winter operations for orchards of perennial plantings to increase yields and quality." The seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by Fileva Lyudmila - Deputy Head
of the Main Department of the Agro-Industrial Complex of ATU Gagauzia, Denis Berezyan - Chairman of the Association of Agricultural Producers of Gagauzia "AGRO OGUZ".
Tatiana Burka, Trade and Marketing Specialist of the USAID / APM Project, made a presentation on current trends in this area.
Experts in the field of horticulture were invited to the seminar. Manziuk Valeriy, Head of the Horticulture Department of the State Agrarian University of Moldova,
spoke about the peculiarities of the technology of the horticulture industry in the current year and the development trends of the horticulture industry. Alexandra Braghis
- consultant of Fertilitate JSC, spoke about the integrated protection system for the orchard. The seminar continued with practical exercises in the garden, where experts
showed the peculiarities of pruning orchards of perennial plantings for agricultural producers and students of the agricultural college.
